Wonderful days succeed each other in Val di Fassa, and we could not miss the opportunity for a walkof it !!!!
Yesterday afternoon with walking boots, rucksack and our cutest dogs Ashi and Toki we started with our shuttle, we parked at the end of the town of Pozza di Fassa and then we walked towards Crucifix hut, junction for Val San Nicolò and Val Monzoni. After a first half in which is located a little ‘climb still distributed among a few bends, it takes a small downhill stretch leading to Malga crucifix and continue for some hundred meters alongside the ski slope Panorama descending from Buffaure.
The direction, on the left, leads to take the Val San Nicolò on the other side leaving the Val Monzoni. We continue with some stretch slightly uphill on snow-covered road flanked by trees still full of snow and ice of the stream … a wonder!
After a very short steeper sections you reach a point where the valley opens up before our eyes in all its beauty. It paves the path and the walk becomes really pure relaxation! It continues through snow-covered meadows, wooden huts, trees, forests and mountains among which there is the Col Ombert with its typical shape of a triangle, all crowned with silence !!!What do you wait to go there ????
